Training & Development Coordinator
Kiewit is seeking a Construction Site Training & Development Coordinator to support a large-scale hyperscale data center project. This role involves coordinating and delivering site-based training programs to ensure workforce readiness and compliance with project goals and standards.

Responsibilities
Assist in organizing and maintaining the project Training & Development Plan for a high‑complexity data center environment
Support skill gap assessments across craft, field engineering, and construction supervision teams
Coordinate onboarding, orientations, and required compliance training for new craft and staff hires
Work closely with Project Leadership, Safety, Quality, and HR to ensure training activities align with EPC execution priorities
Help coordinate craft training programs, including equipment certifications, NCCER modules, and operator qualification requirements
Support upskilling efforts for electrical, mechanical, structural, civil, and specialty systems used in data center construction (e.g., OFCI integration, critical systems)
Track and document craft competencies to support manpower planning efforts
Assist with scheduling and delivering sessions for superintendents, foremen, field engineers, and managers on: Work packaging and planning, Short interval production planning, Lean fundamentals, EPC processes and Kiewit methodologies
Maintain accurate records of training status, certifications, expirations, and curriculum tracking
Support compliance with OSHA, client, and Kiewit training requirements
Help prepare audit‑ready documentation and assist during client or internal audits
Monitor training data to help identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities
Assist in developing training materials, hands‑on modules, and best practices tailored to data center construction
Support initiatives that promote craft retention, productivity, and safety through improved training pathways
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Organizational Development, HR, Education, or related field; or equivalent work experience
2–4 years of experience in workforce development, training coordination, or construction operations; experience supporting large industrial or mission critical projects preferred
Understanding of EPC project execution, construction sequencing, and craft skill requirements (electrical, mechanical, structural)
Experience coordinating training in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment
Strong communication, organization, and time‑management skills
Proficiency with LMS platforms, training tracking tools, and Microsoft Office/Power BI preferred
Regular, reliable attendance
Work productively and meet deadlines timely
Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment
Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies
Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required
May work at various different locations and conditions may vary

Experience supporting large industrial or mission critical projects preferred
Proficiency with LMS platforms, training tracking tools, and Microsoft Office/Power BI preferred
