Responsibilities
Operate Mitsubishi fiber laser systems with automation
Download and run layout programs
Use automation to load and move raw material onto the laser bed
Verify correct material is being cut
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet blueprint tolerances and are burr-free
Perform routine machine maintenance, including:
Cleaning laser bed slats
Removing slag from beneath the machine
Operate a forklift
Occasionally operate an overhead crane
Qualification
Required
Proven experience operating flat laser systems (Mitsubishi preferred)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tolerances
Forklift experience required
Pass a drug screen and background check
Preferred
Overhead crane experience a plus
