Responsibilities

Lead the expansion of our Air Combat Training Systems capabilities
Guide the team in performing all aspects of systems engineering design and development
Bidding
Requirements capture
System design
System integration
System verification & validation testing
Support for certification and qualification
Serve as the primary customer interface for the development team

Qualification

Required

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date
Must be able to travel up to 20% throughout the year
Recognized Master in at least one technical area and leading others in that area
Experience with leading a team to develop complex system of systems requirements and test procedures

Preferred

Experience leading and mentoring in a flexible, collaborative Agile development environment
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
Experience with air combat or military training concepts of operations
Experience with US export regulations: International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
Advanced degree in STEM, Management, or a Master of Business Administration (MBA)
