CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE II
The City of Houston is seeking a Customer Service Representative II for the Parts Division of the Fleet Management Department. This role involves performing various manual and clerical duties related to inventory management, customer service operations, and the distribution of parts and tools.

Responsibilities
Use standard problem-solving techniques to provide general information and customer assistance for quality service
Research, analyzes, and resolves standard customer problems and inquiries by various forms of communication, i.e. phone, email, in person, etc
Prepare documentation to adjust customer accounts while maintaining security and confidentiality
Maintains and monitors various records and reports on customer assistance including state mandated electronic systems
May collect and balance daily revenue from sale of permits, receipts or fees
May create work orders and project numbers. May contact other companies to release services on completed projects
Qualification
Required
Requires a high school diploma or a GED
Two years of administrative or customer service-related experience is required
An Associate's degree may be substituted for up to two years of the experience requirement
Preferred
Previous experience with MS Excel, MS Access, SAP, and Asset-works M5
Two years or more of experience sourcing heavy duty diesel parts
Body shop experience in a retail or maintenance environment
Driving License is highly desired
