IT Project Manager - Unified Communications team (Raleigh Office)

Responsibilities
Direct complex projects involving multiple stakeholders
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
Define, create and execute project plans for project, portfolio, and product prioritization and implementation
Evaluate trade-offs between project size and complexity, cost, urgency, risk, and stakeholder value
Proactively manage changes in project scope
Partner with business sponsors to define success metrics and with other groups which have an impact on the project success
Build, lead, and coach multiple project teams throughout project life-cycles
Provide frequent on-site monitoring and enforcement of schedules, milestones, and vendor accountability
Facilitate all operational checkpoint activities throughout the lifecycle of projects
Create risk mitigation strategies to anticipate, assess and resolve project risks
Prepare project status reports and present project performance updates to relevant business stakeholders
Define and track project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan
Ensure all projects meet success parameters and return on investment (ROI) targets stated in the original project proposal
Qualification
Required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent facilitation, collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills
Experience with stakeholder management and building relationships
Ability to anticipate risks and devise solutions in the moment
Awareness of organizational change management practices
Focused and versatile team player who is comfortable under pressure, ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability
Understanding of software development lifecycles
In depth understanding of project management concepts
Coordinate with geographically distributed teams and assist in training and coaching in order to achieve project goals
Ability to collaborate with a diverse, global, cross-functional team
Experience working with project and portfolio management tools
Experience in an agile environment
More than 5 years of project management experience
Bachelor's in computer science, information technology, management or related field (Master's preferred)
Project management certifications are a plus
Preferred
CCaaS, UCaaS, and SaaS communications tools deployment experience
