Data Engineer, NASC Data Engineering
Amazon is seeking skilled and highly motivated Data Engineers to join the NASC SPEeD team, which is focused on building scalable solutions for the Sort Center network. The role involves developing new platforms and science-based planning tools to optimize logistics and enhance customer experience.

Responsibilities
Build scalable solutions to address increasing operational complexity from the evolution of new processes such as containerization, heavy-bulky freight, international shipping, customer returns, and Amazon Robotics solutions
Continuously innovate on behalf of customers and develop new platforms and new science-based planning tools to efficiently match processing supply to logistics demand
Work with a wide range of teams and services across Amazon
Get guidance from principal product managers and senior engineers to help with professional growth and development
Qualification
Required
3+ years of data engineering experience
Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
Preferred
Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
Experience with non-relational databases / data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases)
