Responsibilities

Design, develop, debug software solutions for the MK 41 VLS Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) and Missile & Launcher Simulators
Review, update, and develop software code including, but not limited to, C/C#/C++, Java, Python, and Labview. Provide technical expertise for tasks related to Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) systems, including installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance & upgrades
Provide computer engineering for VLS ATE tasks in support of launcher installation & upgrade, testing & evaluation, failure investigation & troubleshooting, computer diagnostics, technical documentation authoring, editing, and updating of procedures and test plans
Provide team leadership and mentoring of junior engineers, driving project success, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable code

Required

Eight-plus (8+) years' experience in computer engineering and software programming, relevant to ATE computer software development, maintenance and upgrades
Programming mastery of C/C#/C++, Java, Python, and Labview
Software engineering expertise with proficiency in specific test-oriented programming languages, and strong understanding of electronic hardware
Familiarity with industry-standard platforms like Teradyne or Keysight
Ability to read schematics, understand electrical circuits (analog/digital), and knowledge of PCB design and layout
Understanding of functional, regression, boundary, and stress testing
Proficiency with hardware instrumentation such as Data Loggers, Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, Signal Generators, Logic and Power Supply Analyzers
Problem-solving skills in identifying problems, developing solutions, and implementing fixes; ability to diagnose and fix issues with both software code and physical test hardware
Meticulousness in verifying test procedures and ensuring accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders, present findings, and facilitate technical discussion & collaboration
Ability to learn new tools and adapt to changing project requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required
