Braly Insurance Group is seeking a driven Insurance Consultant to join their team. This sales-focused role involves developing new business relationships, managing commercial accounts, and serving as a trusted risk advisor to business owners and executives.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue prospective commercial accounts through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and industry events
Build a pipeline of qualified opportunities and maintain consistent prospecting activity
Develop relationships with centers of influence such as CPAs, attorneys, and bankers who serve your target market
Conduct thorough discovery meetings to understand each client's business operations, exposures, and risk tolerance
Analyze existing coverage programs to identify gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement
Present tailored insurance solutions that address specific business needs rather than selling policies transactionally
Manage the full client lifecycle from proposal through binding, onboarding, and renewal
Coordinate with carriers and internal support staff to ensure accurate policy issuance and timely service
Conduct annual reviews and proactively communicate market changes or coverage recommendations
Stay current on coverage forms, market conditions, and emerging risks relevant to your client base
Represent the agency at industry functions and professional associations
Contribute to the agency's reputation as a knowledgeable resource in your area of focus

Qualification

Required

Active Property & Casualty insurance license
Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial insurance sales or production
Demonstrated experience writing accounts on the upper end of small commercial and into the middle market segment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to explain complex coverage concepts in clear, practical terms
Self-motivated with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
Proficiency with agency management systems and CRM tools

Preferred

Experience with specialty or complex commercial accounts
Established relationships within a specific industry vertical
Professional designations such as CIC, CRM, or CPCU (or willingness to pursue)
Background in energy, construction, manufacturing, or another complex industry sector
