Policy Analyst Intern – Washington D.C.
Clark Hill PLC is seeking a Policy Analyst Intern to work in the firm’s advocacy subsidiary, Clark Hill Public Strategies. The role involves tracking and summarizing legislative and regulatory developments, analyzing potential policy changes for clients, and assisting in various administrative tasks related to policy advocacy.

Responsibilities
Track and summarize legislative and regulatory developments
Work with senior team members to analyze the implications of potential policy changes for clients
Draft memos on regulatory and legislative developments
Assist in writing comment letters to agencies and congressional committees
Monitor, analyze, and prepare hearing reports and follow-up materials from meetings of advisory groups and agencies
Aide in drafting policy-relevant thought leadership pieces
Participate in lobbying meetings
Assist in some administrative tasks, to include maintaining internal policy trackers, printing and assembling client materials, and scheduling lobbying meetings
Qualification
Required
A strong work ethic
Excellent writing skills
Ability to multi-task, work independently, and meet deadlines
Background in public policy, through previous jobs or internships and/or significant coursework
Ability to process and summarize complex regulatory developments
A commitment to ensuring our clients get up-to-date information on issues that impact them
Preferred
Enrollment in a Master of Public Policy (MPP) program, JD program, or equivalent is preferred
