Responsibilities

Design and develop intra-switchgear/inter-equipment control systems and site-wide Sequence of Operation (SOO)
Create safety mechanical/electrical interlocks and system-wide automation (PLC/RTAC)
Develop generator/plant controls (start/load pickup, load shed, curtailment) and load management schemes
Specify and configure SEL/ABB/Siemens relay protection, IEC61850 logic, and MTM transfer schemes
Lead vendor coordination, submittal & factory witness testing to confirm design-build requirements
Provide field technical support, startup/commissioning oversight, and failure/event analysis

Required

B.S. in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 8+ years' electrical power systems design experience
Professional Engineer (PE) license — required
Strong knowledge of generators, transformers, relays, switchgear, UPS/DRUPS, battery/storage, inverters and PV/wind interfaces
Hands-on experience with PLC/RTAC programming and SEL/ABB/Siemens protection logic
Experience with vendor coordination, submittal review, and factory testing
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Excellent written/oral communication, able to prioritize under pressure and work cross-functionally

Oracle experience preferred
