Responsibilities

Proactively identify environmental compliance risks and gaps in new and existing systems, procedures, and processes
Support initiatives ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations
Assist in developing and implementing environmental compliance policies and procedures
Conduct regulatory research and monitor emerging environmental requirements
Support environmental audits, inspections, and corrective action tracking
Develop project plans and manage initiatives through implementation
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure sustainable environmental programs
Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to drive compliance improvements
Prepare reports, presentations, and regulatory documentation
Support investigations related to environmental incidents
Travel up to 15% of the time

Required

Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
3 years experience of environmental compliance concepts
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

Preferred

Experience in environmental compliance or regulatory programs
Familiarity with EPA and state environmental regulations
Experience supporting audits and inspections
Experience with frontline or unionized teams
