Responsibilities
Perform high-level design based on provided external specifications
Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture
Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs
Build and execute unit tests and unit plans
Review integration and regression test plans created by QA
Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, JavaScript frameworks, and PL/SQL
Demonstrated experience in system-level design, service-oriented architectures, and development of REST/SOAP-based web services and user interfaces
Experience designing and building cloud-native microservices and micro-frontend architectures, including associated development and deployment workflows
Solid analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex issues
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including customers and leadership
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong focus on delivery and execution

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
