Mid-Level Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and design for assigned project components (gravity and lateral systems, framing layouts, member sizing, and coordination of detailing intent)
Develop complete, traceable calculation packages with clear assumptions, code references, and design checks
Support design of steel and/or concrete elements, and coordinate load paths and design criteria across structural components
Identify constructability concerns and propose practical solutions aligned with design intent
Produce and/or coordinate structural design deliverables including drawings, details, schedules, and technical notes
Review and comment on shop drawings/submittals and draft RFI responses for senior review/approval
Coordinate structural interfaces with architecture, MEP, and civil disciplines to prevent clashes and downstream change
Apply internal standards and QA/QC processes; perform self-checks and peer reviews as assigned
Proactively catch inconsistencies between calculations, plans, and details; drive corrections before issue
Maintain audit-ready project files, version control, and decision logs
Provide engineering support during construction: evaluate field conditions, draft clarifications, and support resolution paths
Attend coordination meetings and/or site visits as needed; document findings and action items
