Responsibilities
Promote and grow drives, controls, and automation product lines, including VFDs, servo systems, PLCs, HMIs, and motion controllers
Size, specify, and propose complete drive and automation systems for applications such as conveying, indexing, hoisting, pumping, and material handling
Develop technical proposals, quotations, BOMs, and application documentation
Provide pre-sales, sales, and post-sales technical support
Support customers during commissioning, startup, and programming
Deliver technical training to internal teams, partners, and customers
Conduct on-site demonstrations, troubleshooting, and field service support
Collaborate with sales leadership to achieve regional and company growth objectives
Communicate customer feedback and product improvement ideas to product management
Support internal technical projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Attend training sessions, trade shows, and industry events
Qualification
Required
Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or related Engineering field, or 5+ years' experience in motion control and automation systems
Strong hands-on knowledge of servo motors, AC/DC drives, PLCs, HMIs, encoders, and fieldbus networks (PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT)
Experience taking applications from concept through commissioning
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
Strong applied knowledge of system sizing, load calculations, and component selection
Proficiency with test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
Excellent communication and customer engagement skills
Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently
