Responsibilities
Lead month-end close activities: prepare and post journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and validate trial balance accuracy
Maintain general ledger integrity: perform regular reconciliations for cash, AR, AP, payroll clearing, and deferred revenue accounts
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows: review vendor invoices, support collections, and resolve billing variances with clinical/billing teams
Prepare financial reports and schedules for leadership and external stakeholders; support budgeting and cash-flow forecasting
Support external and internal audits: prepare supporting schedules, respond to auditor inquiries, and help implement audit recommendations
Drive process improvements and controls: document procedures, identify automation opportunities in the accounting cycle, and enhance month-end efficiencies
