Responsibilities
Design and coordinate civil engineering elements associated with buildings and site developments
Prepare civil design drawings, calculations, and technical specifications
Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, MEP engineers, and contractors
Support projects through all phases: concept, design development, permitting, and construction
Participate in site visits, construction coordination, and RFIs
Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and permitting requirements
Assist in mentoring junior staff and contributing to technical reviews
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline (ABET-accredited preferred)
EIT (Engineer in Training) certification
4–7 years of relevant civil engineering experience, preferably on building-related projects
Experience working on civil design for commercial, residential, industrial, or mixed-use developments
Proficiency with industry-standard software (e.g. AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
Strong coordination, communication, and documentation skills
Preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or actively pursuing PE
Experience working within a multidisciplinary design team
Familiarity with permitting processes and authority approvals
Construction-phase support experience
