Responsibilities
Manage and mentor a high-performing team of engineers
Design and implement capabilities for the GDC Production Engineering ecosystem
Partner with Product, Program, and Engineering counterparts to shape the long-term product charter and technology roadmap, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions
Focus on growing talent from individual contributors to Tech Leads and Managers, while fostering an environment rooted in psychological safety
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
8 years of experience in software development
3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role
3 years of experience in cloud computing, including one or more of the following: public, private cloud, compute, storage, networking, software, platform/infrastructure-as-a-service
2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role
Preferred
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field
3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization
Experience in partnering with large planet-scale operations teams
Experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration frameworks
Experience influencing engineers concurrently while partnering across the organization on broader development initiatives
