Senior LevelThe Waldorf School of Saratoga Springs is hiring a lead Administrator for the 2026-2027 school year, to begin in July 2026 or sooner. This individual will be responsible for the operations of the school, overseeing finances, enrollment, philanthropy, marketing, and community-building activities essential for the success of the nonprofit school.
Primary and Secondary Education
Responsibilities
Oversee the work of and supervise the Administrative staff
Ensure all staff comply with school policies
Remain visible and accessible to parents, administrative staff, and faculty
Chair and attend meetings
Support Parent Group work
Serve as liaison between Board of Directors and faculty groups
Oversee that all handbooks, directories, policies and procedures are updated and communicated regularly
Hold a picture of the working of all aspects of the school and the current pulse of the school
Manage grievance reports, investigations, and follow through with Governance Council
Review and oversight of school operations for safety and legal requirements
Interface with governmental agencies, legal counsel, and community
Communicate with the school community on a regular basis
Oversee consistency in messaging and branding
Attend and support Community Festivals, Events, and Fundraisers
Qualification
Required
Masters Level Degree in Education or Leadership
Experience managing the daily operations of a small business
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Organized, dependable, punctual
Ability to work collaboratively and delegate effectively
Open to continuing education and a collaborative leadership model
Preferred
Familiarity with, and experience in, Waldorf Education
