Responsibilities
Equipment Operation: Proficiency in operating and maintaining automated assembly equipment, pick-and-place machines, or wafer processing tools
Assembly Techniques: Experience with micro-assembly, die bonding, wire bonding, and encapsulation
Documentation: Ability to compile and maintain production logs, test results, and reports using Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or software like Excel
Technical Reading: Proficient in interpreting blueprints, schematics, and Work Instructions (WI)
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of direct experience in a semiconductor manufacturing or high-tech assembly environment
Proficiency in operating and maintaining automated assembly equipment, pick-and-place machines, or wafer processing tools
Experience with micro-assembly, die bonding, wire bonding, and encapsulation
Ability to compile and maintain production logs, test results, and reports using Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or software like Excel
Proficient in interpreting blueprints, schematics, and Work Instructions (WI)
Extensive knowledge of assembly machinery (e.g., wire bonders, die attach machines), cleanroom protocols (ISO Class 1-8), and electrostatic discharge (ESD) prevention
Capable of guiding, training, and mentoring new team members, apprentices, or trainees
Strong ability to debug and troubleshoot failed electronic components, assemblies, and systems using test equipment and schematics
High attention to detail, capable of performing visual inspections under microscopes, and familiar with Lean/Six Sigma principles
Comfortable working with a moderate degree of supervision, often managing their own workflow to meet production targets
