Responsibilities
Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Java (Version: 11), JSP, Servlets, and HTML
Independently troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime
Support ongoing development efforts, including sprint-based feature development and bug fixes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient application performance and scalability
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers as needed
Follow best practices for code quality, security, and performance optimization
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning
Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services into applications
Implement unit and integration tests using JUnit or TestNG
Utilize version control systems like Git for collaborative development
Work with build tools such as Maven or Gradle for project management
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in Java development
Proficiency in JSP, Servlets, HTML, and MySQL
Experience in database management
Experience with RESTful web services and API integration
Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and testing frameworks
Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and sprint-based development
Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot production issues
Strong communication and collaboration skills are important
Preferred
Hands-on experience with JavaScript, jQuery, and Ajax
Understanding DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC) is a plus
Experience with containerization tools like Docker
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
