Responsibilities
Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive, user-friendly, and visually compelling Tableau dashboards and reports that translate complex data into actionable insights
Data Analysis & Transformation: Leverage SQL to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources, including large-scale financial or regulated datasets
Performance Optimization: Optimize Tableau dashboards and data extracts for performance and scalability, reducing refresh times and improving usability
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with business analysts, data engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and convert business needs into technical solutions
Governance & Support: Support and administer Tableau Server environments, including user provisioning, security access, documentation, and best practices
Data Integrity: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability by collaborating with engineering teams to resolve data quality issues
Qualification
Required
Advanced proficiency with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server
Strong SQL skills and solid understanding of data warehousing concepts
Hands-on experience with data modeling, blending, and building complex, interactive visualizations
Familiarity with financial or healthcare-related data and associated regulatory standards
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and insights from data
3–5+ years of proven experience in Tableau development, preferably within a corporate, financial, or regulated environment
Must be experienced in presenting solutions to clients and troubleshooting challenges with external customers
