Responsibilities

Premium data entry: Enter premium amounts, customer commissions, state filing and internal reporting data for endorsements, audits, cancellations and reinstatements within required timelines
Policy updates: Enter and maintain general policy information including policy numbers, effective dates, insured and customer details, commission and billing information
Data investigation: Research discrepancies or missing information and resolve issues related to incorrect or incomplete premium data
Billing accuracy: Process data corrections as required by Direct Bill, Accounts Receivable or the controller to ensure invoices and account records are accurate
Reporting support: Ensure internal and external reports, invoice summaries and customer account currents remain up to date
Training support: Assist with training new employees as needed
Clerical assistance: Provide clerical support to Accounts Receivable as time permits

Required

Education or experience: College degree or equivalent work experience
Attention to detail: Strong ability to accurately enter and review numerical and policy-related information
Basic math skills: Comfort working with numbers to ensure premium and commission accuracy
Typing proficiency: Accurate and efficient data entry and keying skills
Technology skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
Organization: Ability to manage multiple data tasks while meeting deadlines
Reliability: Consistent follow-through to ensure data integrity and timely processing
