Responsibilities
Provides administrative and operational support to the EVP Senior Lender, Market Leader, and Relationship Banker in the origination of new loans and the servicing of existing loans
Serves as backup support for customer inquiries related to existing loans and new loan processes
Assists lending officers with loan-related activities, including fund disbursements and loan extensions
Responds to client inquiries regarding bank products, services, accounts, and policies; promotes cross-selling opportunities; researches and resolves account discrepancies
Supports management of the EVP Senior Lender’s loan portfolio, including clearing loan, collateral, credit, and deposit exceptions, as well as monitoring past-due accounts
Assists the EVP Senior Lender with preparation of construction loan draw requests for approval and disbursement
Collaborates with Marketing and other sales personnel to identify and capitalize on cross-selling opportunities
Welcomes and interviews customers and prospects to gather financial information, assess needs, and recommend appropriate bank products and services
Provides customers with loan applications and product information and participates in business development initiatives
Qualification
Required
Working knowledge of applicable banking regulations and compliance guidelines
Moderate computer proficiency, including working knowledge of lending systems and related applications
Moderate accounting skills with the ability to perform balancing, reconciliation, reporting, and basic financial analysis
In-depth knowledge of bank products and services, policies and procedures, sales incentive programs, and regulatory and audit requirements
