Contact providers to share information and educate them about medical management programs
Support clinicians with provider and member outreach
Conduct research related to member needs, provider inquiries, and clinical activities
Perform accurate and timely data entry
Respond to inquiries from members and providers
Assist in coordinating member needs and identifying solutions
Prepare written correspondence and internal communication as needed
Qualification
Required
1 year of college and 2 years of experience using automated systems OR 3 years of experience with automated systems
1 year of experience in a managed care environment
Experience coordinating member needs and providing member assistance
Working knowledge of medical terminology
Knowledge of managed care claims systems
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Strong customer service, verbal communication, and written communication skills
Ability to write clear correspondence and provide coaching or education to members
Preferred
College coursework in computer science or the medical field
Experience supporting clinical teams in a managed care setting
