Responsibilities
Serve as BWSR’s facilities projects team lead and assets manager
Serve as the main point of contact and project team lead for BWSR’s facilities projects and building location change/renovation projects
Oversee day-to-day operations of projects to ensure business continues uninterrupted and renovation distractions are minimized
Research and coordinate other projects that support the agency’s administrative services and space needs
Qualification
Required
Two (2) years of experience coordinating facilities, fleet, and/or asset management, as well as operational functions in vendor and contract management
The ability to implement program procedures, evaluate processes, anticipate needs and make recommended changes including analytical skills to determine the best strategy to implement projects
Interpersonal skills: listening, speaking, writing, customer empathy, ability to develop and maintain effective-positive work relationships, team skills, patience, self-confidence, self-sufficiency
Verbal and written communication skills to facilitate understanding of the issues
Operational knowledge of computers for communication, storage and retrieval of information and to organize and analyze issues
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record subject to review
Preferred
More than two (2) years of experience coordinating a facilities management program
Facilities management experience for the State of Minnesota
Experience in project planning and management
Knowledge and/or experience monitoring budgets and spending plans
Experience in the field of occupational health and safety, ergonomics and injury prevention
