Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain robot localization algorithms
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define, design, test, and create autonomous robots
Clearly present and communicate plans and strategies for deliverables
Properly document and test code
Continually research, discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies and approaches
Effectively use data to prove/disprove functionality
Autonomously task manage and deliver in a timely manner
Qualification
Required
Total of 4+ years of robot localization experience with a Bachelor's degree, 2+ with a Master's
The degree should be in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
Proficiency with C/C++, Python
Expertise designing and implementing localization algorithms, e.g. SLAM, particle filters, Kalman Filters, etc
Experience working with a variety of robot sensors, e.g. lidar, stereo cameras, RGB cameras
Strong Experience with Linux based embedded computers, Nvidia Jetson preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong ability to work within a team environment
Successful applicants will be asked to show proof that they can legally work in the U.S
Preferred
Prior experience designing for commercial products is preferred
