Responsibilities
Develop detailed fabrication drawings from 3D models for the conveyor industry
Function as a primary technical resource for all perforated conveyor pattern layouts
Aid in the research and development of new product drawings and layouts
Maintain files of all drawings created and approved
Qualification
Required
An Associate's Degree within Design/Drafting or a related field, or considerable prior transferable experience
Ability to read part fabrication drawings
Strong computer skills, including standard Microsoft applications and CAD software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to contribute individually and work well in a team environment
Open minded, forward thinking, and results oriented
Working knowledge of standard sheet metal applications and tolerances
Working knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing equipment
Working knowledge of sheet metal materials and properties
Ability to read & write in English
Preferred
Prefer 5+ years in design using AutoCAD, Fusion 360 or similar software
Prefer 3+ years in an industrial environment
