Responsibilities

Provide hands-on involvement and support for the month-end close process using modified accruals
Support all aspects of fund accounting for government or non-profit entities
Prepare journal entries for the month-end close of three entities: Library ($400k), Township ($14M), and Municipal Authority ($7M)
Manage Accounts Payable for approximately 70 vendors
Oversee Accounts Receivable processes
Support payroll operations for approximately 50 employees
Operate effectively within Caselle ERP and Microsoft Excel

Required

4+ years of experience with hands-on involvement in month-end close and fund accounting in a government or non-profit setting, handling a minimum of three entities
4+ years of experience with modified accruals and journal entries
4+ years of experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll support
4+ years of experience with an accounting ERP system
Proficiency in creating pivot tables, vlookups, and formulas within Microsoft Excel
