Facilities Planner
The Judge Group is seeking a Facilities Planner to coordinate and plan office strategies and workplace solutions. This role involves managing new facilities, renovations, and ensuring compliance with various regulations while engaging with stakeholders to develop effective workplace solutions.
Responsibilities
Assist with office layouts, design recommendations, workspace fit‑outs, furniture selection, and overall coordination efforts
Set up new or renovate existing office areas in alignment with corporate furniture standards, finishes, and appearance guidelines
Monitor and coordinate activities of maintenance teams and subcontractors to ensure adherence to schedules, quality standards, and project scope
Collaborate with Safety and other teams to ensure ergonomic best practices are implemented and followed, including conducting follow-up audits
Utilize Computer‑Aided Design and planning systems; proficiency in AutoCAD is required
Ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, and all federal, state, and local regulations during design and project execution
Act as the primary interface with internal stakeholders to understand business direction and evolving workplace needs
Forecast space requirements based on organizational growth, business objectives, and market conditions
Develop actionable space and workplace solutions
Facilitate discussions regarding headcount projections, team adjacencies, space allocations, and specialized support area needs
Execute change management processes for unplanned or special project requests
Ensure occupancy plans align with organizational strategies
Establish project goals, including scope and schedule
Develop project‑level and portfolio‑level recommendations based on data analysis
Qualification
Required
B.S. degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Facilities Planning, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
Strong knowledge of CAD tools; AutoCAD experience required
Ability to analyze facilities issues and recommend solutions
3–5+ years of experience in space planning, interior design, workplace strategy, or corporate real estate
Strong analytical and spatial visualization capabilities
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Solid understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Strong coordination and organizational skills
