Responsibilities
Define and own the mobile application architecture using Ionic (Angular/React) for iOS and Android platforms
Design reusable components, libraries, and frameworks to ensure scalability and maintainability
Lead technical decision-making around mobile frameworks, tools, CI/CD, and release strategies
Collaborate with backend architects to define APIs, data models, and integration patterns
Ensure adherence to security, performance, and accessibility best practices
Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring to mobile development teams
Evaluate new mobile technologies and recommend improvements to the mobile ecosystem
Work closely with product owners and UX designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Support app store deployment, versioning, and production issue resolution
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
8+ years of software development experience, with 3+ years in a mobile architect or lead role
Strong hands-on experience with Ionic Framework (Angular or React)
Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS/SCSS
Experience building hybrid mobile apps for iOS and Android
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend integration
Experience with mobile security, authentication (OAuth, JWT), and secure storage
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and mobile build tools (Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
Preferred
Experience with Angular or React beyond Ionic
Knowledge of native mobile development (Swift, Kotlin)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Background in enterprise or government systems
Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG)
