Responsibilities
Work on deployable IT systems that communicate over satellite
Development and integration of new software and technology
Management of trouble tickets and reporting of issues and actions taken daily and weekly
Communicate effectively with end users via phone, email, chat, etc
Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues in timely manner according to mission guidelines
Installation of new hardware or software
Creating and managing user accounts
Maintaining computer systems such as servers and databases
Planning and properly responding to system outages and various other problems
May include light programming or scripting to make the system workflows easier
Training computer users and assistants
Qualification
Required
Bachelors and 0 years' experience. (4 years' experience accepted in lieu of degree)
DoD 8570 Baseline Cybersecurity Certification such as CompTIA Security+ (must have prior to hire)
IAT Level II or above certification in addition to baseline cyber certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)
Foundational knowledge of IT systems, servers, and networks
Ability to troubleshoot IT issues
Ability to communicate professionally and courteously with US Government and US Military personnel and other customers
Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and other Windows Roles and Features related to Enterprise services
Security+ certification
Secret clearance
Travel included up to 10%
