Responsibilities
Perform First Article, In-Process, and Final inspections on manufactured products
Inspect parts using hand measurement tools, CMMs, optical comparators , and other inspection equipment
Prepare inspection reports, Certificates of Conformance , and support FAI documentation
Inspect incoming materials and parts from outside/secondary processes for specification compliance
Route inspected parts to secondary processes and coordinate timely release to Shipping
Communicate inspection status, quality issues, and risks to Quality Leads and Project Managers
Support production teams in compliance with ISO 9001 / AS9100 / ISO 13485 requirements
Train and mentor less experienced inspectors on inspection techniques, procedures, and quality standards
Participate in audits, compliance initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts
Follow established procedures and work instructions while identifying improvement opportunities
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
5+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
Advanced knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
Strong ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications
Hands-on experience with calipers, micrometers, height gages, and other precision measurement tools
Working knowledge of CMM inspection systems and optical comparators
Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, and/or ISO 13485 quality systems
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and quality-related software
Preferred
GD&T training certification from a recognized institution
