Sale Development Manager, Fire Engineering Training

The Sales Development Manager will be responsible for revenue generation, managing the sales pipeline, and consultatively selling Fire Engineering Training solutions.

Responsibilities
Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, with full accountability for meeting or exceeding monthly and annual revenue targets
Build, manage, and advance a qualified sales pipeline within an assigned territory
Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer challenges, operational goals, and training requirements
Consultatively sell a SaaS-based LMS and training suite to fire departments, EMS agencies, private ambulance companies, municipalities, and hospitals
Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals aligned to customer needs
Accurately forecast revenue and maintain pipeline hygiene within Salesforce (CRM)
Document all sales activity, customer interactions, and deal progress in Salesforce in a timely and consistent manner
Meet or exceed established targets for revenue, pipeline coverage, and sales activity
Collaborate closely with marketing, and internal stakeholders to support territory growth and campaign execution
Attend relevant industry conferences, trade shows, and events to generate leads, expand relationships, and represent the brand
Continuously develop market, product, and industry knowledge to strengthen credibility and selling effectiveness
Maintain professional internal and external relationships that reflect company values and a customer-first mindset
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in inside sales, account executive, or full-cycle B2B sales
Proven success selling SaaS or technology-enabled solutions, ideally in a recurring-revenue model
Demonstrated ability to build and manage a pipeline while consistently closing new business
Strong consultative selling and discovery skills
Proven performance in a commission-based or incentive-driven compensation structure
Strong presentation, proposal, and negotiation skills
Experience working within a CRM (Salesforce preferred)
Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
Ability to build trust and credibility with decision-makers across diverse customer organizations
Preferred
Experience selling into public safety, education, healthcare, or government markets a plus
Experience in the fire or emergency services industry a plus
