Responsibilities
Design and develop relational and multi-dimensional databases for enterprise data warehousing
Collaborate with clients, technical teams, and stakeholders to plan, build, and enhance database applications and related assets
Assess current data structures and recommend improvements as needed
Develop data acquisition and backup/recovery strategies
Work with Database Administrators to migrate large-scale applications to test and production environments
Integrate new data sources into the data warehouse and drive continuous improvement of system functionality
Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance data management
Consult with external vendors to implement third-party solutions
Manage data lifecycle, including archiving and purging obsolete data
Develop and enforce standards for data structures and models across the organization
Partner with various departments to design and implement data marts tailored to business needs
Qualification
Required
At least 10 years of experience in architecture and business data analysis for complex enterprise data warehouses and data lakes
Experience with developing architecture for cloud database platforms like Snowflake, RedShift, and Databricks
Experience with Data Governance technology like Collibra and Data Integration tools like Informatica
Strong Banking and Financial Services experience
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field required
