Responsibilities
Supporting systems at a high level
Documentation and end-user training
Serve as a subject matter expert
Serve as a technical advisor
Serve as an escalation point for troubleshooting
Proficiency in peripheral systems such as visitor management, video intercom, LPR, analytics and gate systems
Proficiency of IP camera technology, controller hardware, door hardware and credential technologies
Participation in project commissioning and testing
Assist in the enforcement of standards related to final documentation
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education/experience
Current and valid US driver's license
At least 5 years of experience in the physical security, IT or electronics field
Serve as a Service Professional (or equal) for a minimum of 6 years
Hold and retain at least 3 VMS and 2 access control certifications
Minimum of 2 years experience configuring physical security systems
Basic knowledge of network fundamentals, SQL database and Windows Server
Ability to communicate at a high level with customer IT staff
Ability to work with the customer to design system configurations
Ability to possess advanced system design and quoting abilities to assist sales when needed
Excellent external and internal communication skills
Organization, attention to detail and ability to multi task
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Experience in configuring access control and surveillance systems
