Technical Support Representative
Qumulex applies today’s cloud and IoT technology to video surveillance and access control needs in the commercial segment. The Technical Support Representative will remotely support dealers and customers, assisting with configuration, diagnosing, and resolving issues related to electronic access control and video systems.

Responsibilities
Provide a high level of customer service, supporting video and EAC over phone, email, and chat
System configuration and initial setup
Camera connectivity and configuration
Network troubleshooting for IP-based devices
Diagnose Linux Server logs/symptoms
Analyze logs and system behavior to quickly identify the root cause
Document cases thoroughly, including troubleshooting steps and resolutions
Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical users
Qualification
Required
AS or BS (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
2-5 years in Electronic Access Control (support, admin, or field installation)
Intermediate understanding of networking and troubleshooting IP cameras and devices
Professionalism, patience, a solution-oriented approach, and a customer-first mindset
Strong documentation habits
Preferred
Direct Experience with Rosslare controllers, panels, and software
Relevant CompTIA Certification(s)
Linux experience (Ubuntu Server)
Mercury Access Control experience
SQL database knowledge
Cloud integrations experience
Microsoft Entra experience
