COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PARTNER

NEOGOV is seeking a Community Engagement Partner to enhance the well-being of residents in the City of Surprise. The role involves developing and managing community engagement initiatives, providing leadership on strategic projects, and promoting HSCV programs and services.

Responsibilities

Develops, implements, promotes, and manages community engagement, youth, strategic initiatives special projects and events
Provides leadership on strategic planning/projects and goals, through project management and preparation/delivery
Manages Human Service & Community Vitality (HSCV) strategic communications delivery through multiple platforms
Plan and coordinate youth development programming
Manages and leads HSCV youth workforce development programs
Provides professional assistance to management, staff and members of the public
Makes recommendations to leadership on community related issues and proactively seeks funding opportunities and community contributions in support of HSCV strategic initiatives and programming
Provides supervision and support to program volunteers

Required

Bachelor's degree in a related field and three years experience in community engagement, marketing and communications, youth development, social work, recreation, education, public administration or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed in the job description
Must have at the time of hire and be able to maintain a valid Arizona driver license
