Project Coordinator
The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator in Columbia University Department of Psychiatry's Division on Substance Use Disorders. This role involves coordinating NIH-funded clinical trials focused on opioid use disorder, including managing project documentation, leading meetings, and supporting scientific issues during study execution.

Responsibilities
Participating in and completing research projects, including but not limited to protocol development
Coordination of IRB submissions
Leading project meetings
Managing study oversight and project documentation
Contributing to the development of data collection tools and statistical analysis plans
Providing support as needed for scientific issues that may arise during study execution
Training and supervision of research assistants
Working closely with biostatisticians to plan analyses of clinical data
Presenting and publishing findings in high impact journals
Evening and weekend work may be required occasionally
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in an area relevant to medical science and mental health
At least (1-3) years of relevant experience working on large federal-grant or industry-sponsored studies
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Good judgment
Capable of working autonomously in a research environment with active clinical trials
Meticulous in carrying out research protocols
Enjoy working with human research participants
Familiar with various software programs (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Redcap, SPSS)
Flexible work schedule
Ability to travel between research sites
Preferred
At least (1-3) years of experience working with people who use drugs
