Specialist - Testing Project Manager
GE Aerospace is a leader in aviation and aerospace technology, and they are seeking a Specialist - Testing Project Manager to lead projects requiring mechanical engineering expertise. The role involves defining project objectives, managing deliverables, and overseeing installation and execution of projects within the Test Facilities Mechanical Engineering group.

Responsibilities
Define and document project objectives, requirements, and assumptions necessary to plan and execute capital projects focused on the modification or expansion of existing industrial processes
Identify and pursue additional needed resources, and stakeholders beyond the operator/customer
Manage project deliverables so they complete to forecasted plan
Provide procurement support – procurement strategy, identification of suppliers, coordination of delivery, and storage of hardware/equipment
Oversee installation and execution of assigned projects through continual engagement with engineering, operations, internal trades, and contractors
Identify and manage project risks throughout project lifecycle
Facilitate a regular rhythm of clear project communications with leadership and stakeholders
Engage with plant operators, controls specialists, and maintenance teams to troubleshoot process upsets
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2 years' experience as Quality/Process Engineer or Project Manager
BS or equivalent from an accredited university or college
Preferred
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
Established project management skills
Active US government Secret Security Clearance, preferred with AP approval
