Responsibilities
Lead IT projects from planning to deployment, ensuring compliance with standards
Manage project resources, schedules, risks, and budgets; track progress using risk management practices
Oversee Agile project sprints, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily scrums, and retrospectives
Prepare and maintain project documentation, work plans, and quality plans
Collaborate with vendors and teams to ensure deliverables meet expectations
Identify project risks and coordinate resolutions with leadership
Support procurement activities and federally funded initiatives
Qualification
Required
10+ years IT project management experience in data management, analytics, or web-based development
Experience with data warehouses, data lakes, BI, J2EE, or SOA systems
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Expertise in project documentation and lifecycle management (PMLC/SDLC)
Team management, mentoring, task assignment, and facilitation experience
Agile methodologies experience – sprints, Kanban, backlog management
PMP Certification (Active) required
Budget tracking experience and strong problem-solving skills
Preferred
Healthcare or public health industry experience
Experience managing multi-agency or multi-department IT initiatives
Knowledge of access & eligibility programs
Experience building and motivating IT project teams in a matrixed environment
