Responsibilities
Leads the design and development of high quality software solutions by writing clean, maintainable and efficient codes
Advises to improve the application of internal software deployment platform, continuous integration or continuous delivery pipeline and twelve factor development methodology to automate the deployment process, ensuring smooth and reliable releases
Leads cross functional team of product managers, designers and other engineers to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs
Writes and maintains highly complex unit tests and integration tests, and performs debugging to maintain the quality and performance of the software, applying test driven development as needed
Proposes continuous improvement initiatives for the software development and deployment processes, and leads implementing approved standards to improve efficiency and reliability
Leads the establishment and maintenance of comprehensive documentation for software applications, deployment processes and system configurations
Leads and mentors technical support and troubleshooting for highly complex issues with deployed applications to ensure minimal downtime and fast resolution
Qualification
Required
Minimum requirement of 6 years of relevant work experience
Typically reflects 10 years or more of relevant experience
Preferred
Technical Leadership & Strategy: Define standards for database operations, roadmap for current technologies and evaluation of new technologies, set long-term strategies and mentor developers
Database Design & Modeling: Create conceptual, logical, physical data models and design database structures for enterprise systems
Solution Architecture & Standards: Design, Implement and manage complex relational database systems to ensure high performance, security, and scalability. Maintain documentation and establish best practices
Technical Proficiency: Expert-level Oracle DB & SQL knowledge. In-depth understanding of relational database design principles. Ability to design, maintain, and upgrade comprehensive database architectures
