Senior Payroll Specialist
LHH is supporting a wonderful client in the non-profit space who is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to join their team on a 3+ contract basis. This role involves processing payroll, managing discrepancies, and maintaining payroll operations. The position requires some in-office work in Manhattan, New York.
Human Resources
Responsibilities
Process bi-weekly payroll, for both hourly and salaried employees
Run audits to resolve payroll discrepancies
Respond to management and employee questions/requests in a timely manner
Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures
Manage funding report for treasury team
Ensure proper expense allocation
Perform account reconciliations
Qualification
Required
5+ years of payroll experience
Proficient with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.)
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
ADP WFN experience is highly preferred
