Responsibilities
Lead a team responsible for daily operational accounting across key areas including: cash management, accounts receivable, rent, prepaids, fixed assets, inventory, and related functions
Review and reconcile accounts including accruals, prepayments, and entity-level transactions
Ensure intercompany transactions are recorded timely and properly eliminated during consolidation
Partner with Corporate Accounting to drive accurate and timely monthly close
Strengthen and maintain world-class internal controls across operational accounting processes
Ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions aligned with closeout goals
Identify and implement automation opportunities in high-volume transaction workflows
Collaborate cross-functionally (including IT) to implement tools that improve efficiency and scalability
Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and provide recommendations
Promote a data-driven culture through analytics, trend analysis, and anomaly detection
Provide financial insights to support strategic and operational decision-making
Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
Stay current on industry best practices, trends, and emerging accounting technologies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
8+ years of accounting leadership experience with strong operational accounting focus
Deep understanding of accounting principles, compliance standards, and internal controls
Strong analytical skills and high-level critical thinking
Proven ability to lead teams, mentor talent, and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and stakeholder partnership skills
Comfortable driving automation and process improvement across complex accounting operations
Preferred
CPA and/or Master's
