Responsibilities
Ensure full compliance with all applicable OSHA and EPA regulations at the federal and state levels. Monitor regulatory changes and proactively adapt internal policies and procedures
Lead enterprise-wide risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analysis (RCA). Implement immediate and long-term corrective and preventive actions
Conduct regular site inspections, safety walkthroughs, and internal EHS audits to maintain and continuously improve ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certifications
Serve as the primary liaison between plant leadership, corporate management, and government regulatory agencies. Provide expert guidance and training to operational teams
Drive behavioral safety initiatives and promote a high-performance safety culture across all levels of the organization
Qualification
Required
8–10+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience within the Energy, Oil & Gas, Power Generation, or related industrial sectors
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related technical discipline
Active Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification — considered the gold standard in the U.S. EHS market
Proven, in-depth knowledge of U.S. safety and environmental legislation, including NFPA 70E, IEEE standards, and state-specific EPA requirements
