Responsibilities
Lead the analysis, cleanup, and optimization of MS SQL Server and Azure SQL databases to ensure data quality, consistency, and readiness for migration
Design and implement data architecture and migration strategies to move structured data from Azure-based SQL platforms to Snowflake
Identify and remediate data quality issues, including duplication, inconsistencies, and inefficient schema designs
Ensure data architecture aligns with financial services standards, governance, and compliance requirements
Qualification
Required
10–15 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles
Strong senior-level SQL expertise, including complex query optimization and schema design
Extensive experience working in an Azure environment, including MS SQL Server and Azure SQL
Proven experience cleaning, restructuring, and preparing enterprise data for platform migration
Hands-on experience migrating data to Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses
Financial services industry background
