Responsibilities
Program management and delivery governance for all projects being delivered by our global delivery teams
Partner with the global delivery teams to provide effective delivery governance i.e. proactively manage risks, respond to client escalations and troubleshoot delivery or engagement issues
Develop and track roadmaps and program plans with other delivery leads
Participate in key projects and deliverable reviews to ensure quality and predictability of delivery
Manage delivery projects with varied engagement, pricing and execution models across service offerings including application development and maintenance, re-engineering, systems integration, package implementation and production support
Ensure a great client experience on all existing delivery engagements for the assigned client(s)
Partner with Client Partners to manage senior client relationships (Director/ VP level) across business, technology and operations
Provide timely and accurate progress updates on delivery and business opportunities to senior stakeholders (includes C-level) across IRIS and the client organizations
Facilitate workshops and mindshare sessions with the clients and other relevant stakeholders around potential new opportunities
Customize industry prevalent engagement models to suit client requirements and deliver engagements on a multi-year roadmap. These include managed services and global delivery models
Create opportunities for organic growth within the designated clients’ stakeholders for whom (s)he is managing delivery function
Provide thought leadership to create business value for the client through IRIS’ service offerings (i.e. solution-based selling)
Anchor pre-sales effort and demos with support from the sales, pre-sales, delivery teams and practices
Ensure delivery and contractual compliance across the portfolio
Support Iris management team and client stakeholders to engineer, scope and plan new projects. This includes and is not limited to –
Drafting clear and concise Vision & Scope or Epic level documents
Drafting Statements of Work
Assisting client teams through JAD sessions to develop high level requirements
Transition work to Iris’ Global Delivery teams
Prepare, manage and execute project plans to include project goals, project timelines and delivery milestones
Identify dependencies on all related functions (infrastructure, testing, info-sec etc.) in the project plans and monitor tasks
Layout and get buy-in for a change management process and communicate changes in schedule to protect stakeholders and manage their expectations
Manage and lead the delivery teams through client environments and aligns their conduct and activities to promote Iris’ business interests
Participate in estimation and prioritization sessions to keep a full backlog of tasks and timelines
Qualification
Required
Experience in program management and delivery governance for IT services and business solutions
Ability to manage senior relationships at Director/VP level across business, technology, and operations
Proven track record in managing delivery projects with varied engagement, pricing, and execution models
Experience in providing effective delivery governance and managing risks
Ability to develop and track roadmaps and program plans
Experience in facilitating workshops and mindshare sessions with clients
Ability to create opportunities for organic growth within designated clients
Experience in drafting clear and concise Vision & Scope or Epic level documents
Experience in drafting Statements of Work
Ability to prepare, manage, and execute project plans including project goals, timelines, and delivery milestones
Experience in managing and leading delivery teams through client environments
Ability to participate in estimation and prioritization sessions
