Drive a team dedicated to delivering mission-critical system software for data centers, maintaining a relentless focus on engineering quality, deployment velocity, and organizational goals

Develop and evolve a mid-term technical strategy and roadmap that anticipates future infrastructure requirements, ensuring your team’s output scales with global needs

Design and vet high-level system architectures while remaining enough to write development code that solves complex, ambiguous technical challenges

Oversee the technical health of the team by reviewing code and system designs to ensure best practices in testability, efficiency, and long-term maintainability

Set clear, role-specific expectations and provide consistent coaching and feedback to help engineers navigate their career development and align their work with broader business impact

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

8 years of experience in software development

Experience with operating systems, embedded systems, firmware, reliability, resource management, servers, C, and C++

Preferred

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field

3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization

Experience in computer architecture, bootloaders, continuous build, continuous deployment, continuous test, data center architecture, Linux Kernel, PCI express, and unified extensible firmware interface
