Responsibilities
Responsible for the applications infrastructure across all networks, ensuring systems operate reliably and securely
Provide technical support to maintain application security compliance and implement required technical precepts
Design, install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools
Proactively monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability
Implement and maintain security controls, backup strategies, and disaster recovery solutions
Develop and maintain scripts to automate tasks and improve overall system efficiency
Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across hardware, software, and network components
Work closely with developers, management, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions
Create and maintain detailed documentation for system architecture, processes, and support procedures
Research and evaluate emerging technologies to support system improvements and future implementations
Contractually responsible to participate in an on-call rotation, providing 24/7 support as required
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Systems Engineer or in a similar technical role
Strong understanding of network architecture, server administration, and virtualization technologies
Experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python)
Ability to see the big picture, analyze complex systems, and perform cost-benefit evaluations
Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
