Business Development Representative

Candescent is the leading cloud-based digital banking solutions provider for financial institutions. They are seeking a driven and motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to generate qualified expansion pipeline through targeted outreach across an assigned territory.

Responsibilities

Execute expansion-focused outreach programs aligned to Growth Marketing priorities and territory plans
Generate and qualify opportunities through proactive, multi-channel engagement across assigned accounts
Research and prioritize accounts to identify whitespace, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities
Educate customers on Candescent’s partnerships, integrations, and platform enhancements
Book qualified meetings and deliver clear, high-quality handoffs to the appropriate sales partners
Partner closely with Field Marketing and Campaign teams to support orchestrated GTM motions, including pre- and post-event outreach
Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and performance tracking in Salesforce
Participate in ongoing enablement, messaging refinement, and playbook development
Contribute to a high-performance BDR team culture built on accountability, learning, and continuous improvement

Required

Bachelor's degree required
2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a related customer-facing role
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience in B2B technology, fintech, SaaS, or financial services
Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding activity, meeting, or pipeline targets
Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
Comfortable engaging buyers across phone, email, LinkedIn, and digital channels
Highly organized self-starter with the ability to manage priorities in a structured GTM environment
Collaborative, coachable, and motivated to grow within a sales or growth marketing career path
