Responsibilities
Create test plans and coordinate resources across various test environments
Perform electrical, functional, and performance testing for server, storage, and networking platforms or components
Validate high-speed interfaces (PCIe Gen 5/6, Ethernet, DDR5) through electrical/protocol compliance and interoperability testing
Collaborate with Original Design Manufacturer/Joint Design Manufacturer (ODMs/JDMs) to ensure validation meets standards while communicating status updates to cross-functional leadership
Utilize lab equipment (oscilloscopes, BERTs, protocol analyzers) and organize data to improve the qualification process
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
2 years of experience working in a board level design and testing technical environment, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree
Preferred
Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field
Experience collecting and organizing data to reproduce results and explain what happened, enabling quick, accurate failure analysis from suppliers where needed
Understanding compute, storage or networking hardware including physical, functional, logical, mechanical, electrical, software, thermal etc. as well as how to test the interfaces
Ability to use scripting and automation to execute test algorithms, and then analyze results
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
